As I Capture this Moment...
walking along a cracked concrete path
the air so cold, thin you can hardly breathe
wind blowing sending messages through my thoughts
springtime is near, but winter is still here
hear the whispering voices of the wind?
leaves blowing, falling of trees
I imagine clouds dashing across the stormy seas
winter doesnt want to leave
just as my mind is stuck on being gloomy
looks as if it might rain, wishing it would
washing away my depressing moods
awaiting to taste the salty rain
standing here lonely, but natures company
should I be so alone?
myself is near with me
I bore myself and I
I am lonely inside
my body is worn
tears of my eyes, tired of crying
I feel the first drop of rain upon my face
it trails alone where my tears have traced
my face pink from cold windy air
I glaze in the distance breathing natures beauty
I should stop from thinking that life is not so unfair
as I capture this moment while I stand and stare

I just came here to see what your blog page looked like. Very nice setup.
mee mOe, what an incredible poem you wrote. "I bore myself": this is the point when I get down that I begin to pick myself up again--listening to my own tape loops bores me. You have capture the moment--keep adding to it!
